Isaiah is a critically-acclaimed author and an educator. His debut novel, The Troubles of Johnny Cannon, was chosen for the Kansas NEA Reading Circle List and his most recent novel, AbrakaPOW, was chosen for the Spirit of Texas Reading Program. With twenty years of experience in education and an MFA in screenwriting, Isaiah uses his unique perspective to bring the voice of kids into his storytelling. Or maybe he just never outgrown his comic books and action figures. Isaiah is currently working on novels, graphic novels, and feature length scripts for middle-grade and YA audiences.
